The Kuna Youth Council is currently accepting applications!
The Kuna Youth Council (KYC) is a youth organization to help Kuna's Mayor and Council in partnership with the Kuna School District (KSD) to establish an agenda for our community's youth, become involved in community projects and events, and take a leadership role in those goals.
To be considered for KYC you must be:
- A Kuna student in 6th through 12th grade, attending a school within the city of Kuna, or are homeschooled
- Interested in learning how your City works
- Motivated to make a difference in your community
- Willing to express your ideas
- Eager to participate in community events and volunteer activities
- Able to work as a team with others to establish goals and initiatives
- Ready to sharpen your leadership, speaking, presentation and decision making skills
- Committed to participating fully in meetings and activities

After your application has been submitted, you will be contacted for an interview.
At this time, meeting times of the KYC are to be determined; however, participation and attendance of these meetings will be required.
