Elections
The City of Kuna provides an election process that is open, fair, and responsive to the needs of all eligible citizens. We constantly strive to increase the accessibility and efficiency of the services we provide.
City Council Members and the Mayor serve four-year terms of office. Elections for City Council are held every two years with two of the four seats up for election. Election of the Mayor is held every four years.
MAYOR & COUNCIL SEAT ELECTIONS ARE HELD IN NOVEMBER, CANDIDATES-ELECT ASSUME OFFICE THE FOLLOWING JANUARY.

No city with a population of less than one hundred thousand (100,000) shall hold a city election for an office if, after the deadline for filing a declaration of intent to be a write-in candidate for the office, it appears:
