Candy Canes with the Mayor
The Annual Candy Canes with the Mayor event is the perfect opportunity to meet Mayor Stear, who will be personally handing out candy canes to all attendees.
But the fun doesn't stop there! Stay for a cup of delicious hot chocolate or cider and enjoy some holiday treats while you mingle with other members of the community. We'll also have a Santa mailbox on site where you can drop off your letters to the North Pole, and little ones can participate in some fun coloring activities or get creative with holiday crafts. This is a great chance to get in the holiday spirit and enjoy some quality time with friends and family. We hope to see you there!

About the Contest
Design the City’s Christmas Postcard.
The winning postcard will be part of the Postcard Writing Station at our annual Candy Canes with the Mayor event on December 11, 2026.
Rules
- Submissions will be accepted from any student who is in the 1st through 5th grade and living or going to school in Kuna.
- Design must be on the submission page provided.
- Please include Student’s Name, Grade, School, Parent’s Name and Contact Information with the submission.
Submission Deadline
Please have all submissions entered by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2026.
