I spent some time on Indian Creek this weekend and was disgusted by the amount of trash on the creek. Broken beer bottles, beer cans, deflated rafts and just overall trash! I don't know if there is an organized "Indian Creek Cleanup" group, but we as residents should consider organizing a weekend cleanup several times a year or at least in November after the water goes out. Take care of the access points before those homeowners gate off the access points as they have done in the past. Many of those access points are private property and they don't need to allow you "easy" access to the river, it's not your right...its their property.
If you pack it in...pack it out, leave the bottles at home and if you see people with bottles on the creek or dropping trash get on them for it. Police our own before we lose access to the creek and/or our creek becomes overly regulated like the Boise River.

I just moved here from a much smaller city than Kuna, and they even had the large recycling bins (same size as the garbage cans) that you set out every other week, no need to sort anything. Pretty sure I'm about the only one in our subdivision who takes the time to sort into 3 paper bags each week and set the little box out every week. I know many more people would recycle if Kuna would implement a more "user friendly" recycling program.

This is more of a question. Areas that are not maintained are the worst offenders, and, of course, those areas are usually owned by person(s) inattentive, uncaring, or unable to maintain the area.
