More than I care to think I drive down SR69 to Meridian or Boise to shop, dine or see attractions. It disturbs me that our community can only manage to attract multiple Mexican restaurants, gift shops, fast food eateries and a grocery chain with a twin brother sprouting up around the corner. Stop giving our tax dollars to other markets and bring in business that encourages our residents to stay and our neighbors to venture out this way. What is the purpose of the economic development council if not to attract good business here?

Homes are growing faster than the alfalfa in Kuna. All winter people ask how is meridian road? if only we kept people here to shop. Its nice we can buy food and go to a Mexican restaurant. What about Clothes? we need shirts, pants and shoes. We need entertainment. Kuna is an untapped recourse for the growing market. We need to bring Commerce to Kuna. Every day Kuna locals shop at the village or the Boise mall or even the meridian Walmart all while driving 10 minutes to 30 minutes away to do so. We need indoor play centers for the kids during the winter, Outdoor shopping wile making it back home in time to take the turkey out of the oven.

I have commented before that I would like to see a Catholic Church and WINCO come to Kuna. I would also like to see a natural foods market. Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Sprouts, Nugget Market; etc.
